Passionate about eco-frugality. I used to party hard, clubbing my way from pay-packet to pay-packet. Never getting ahead, just getting by. Then came our much wanted baby with no savings in the bank - only an old car. Changes were made to our lifestyle and we didn't turn back. In the past 6yrs we purchased a flat, found employment, lived below our means, built an emergency fund, purchased a reliable car and saw the financial benefits of our frugal lifestyle. Our only debt is our mortgage. Our aim is to manage our cash flow wisely, pay off our home quickly and eventually work for pleasure, not necessity. Tonight We Have A Surfer On Our Couch

Tonight we have another couchsurfer sleeping on our couch as I type this.

Dolly has been thrilled to bits having such a fun, lover of life, energetic hoola hooper staying with us.



I haven't accepted as many people onto my couch lately. But when a gem like this comes knocking it's an opportunity for some goodness on the frugal couch.

    My brother was here recently surfing on our couch putting our recycled polytunnel frame up. Great sofa surfing action. Lovely post! Fay

    That's great, fantabulous entertainment crashing on your sofa! 50 years ago, I could do all that technical part and more but without the flair she has. Flair makes it entertaining. I was just an energetic and skinny young teen. No, I was not at all entertaining or cute. Now, I doubt I could even get a hula hoop moving! I love her harem pants. They would accommodate my thighs...

    Yes, I know my yesterday does not count...lol...lol.

    Does Dolly want a hula hoop now?
